Fun at The WACWe would love to hear about all of the fun that you had at The WAC. Please share your review here for others to read.
We were camping at Honeyhill and booked an evening session. The instructors were great with the boys and encouraged those who were a bit unsure of the water. By the end of the evening everyone had gained in ability and confidence. Thanks to Henry and all the team for a great activity.
My young people loved their trip to the WAC at Tonbridge & I loved my opportunity to join in with the fun on the water. We had a great session & it was really good value.
The WAC offers a fantastic opportunity for groups in London & the South East to enjoy "Adventure days” a new & important part of the staged awards for BB. Offering young people, the chance to learn to canoe, kayak or paddleboarding on the beautiful river Medway, whether its one off visit or a more structured qualification this is a great resource with committed and trained BB instructors.
A great time had by seniors and leaders. we had a lovely paddle and learned a lot.
The staff were enthusiastic both dealing with my poor paddling and making sure the seniors got suitable wet.
We are looking forward to returning.
As a member of 2nd Tunbridge Wells I recall clearing the original boat house site and building a fibre glass boat. Then boating down to heart lake for a Whitsun camp.
Attending a leaders event that was organised by North West Kent Battalion, I had great fun in the open boats and in the Kayak. Would recommend any company thinking of arranging activities for their Company Section or Seniors to get in touch with the team at WAC Tonbridge to enhance your programme.
